Social workers are essential to community well-being and play an important role in the hospice journey.

Social workers are trained to help people address personal and systemic barriers to optimal living. They are employed to effect positive change with individuals, families, and communities. As a critical component at the heart of the hospice team, social workers provide support, counseling, and information/referral services to the patients and families we serve.
